BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU: (BJJ) is a ground based style of martial arts specializing in control and submission techniques when on the ground. This is done by manipulating the bodies joints such as the shoulders, arms and legs. Additionally there are a variety  of choking techniques employed to subdue an adversery.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS: (MMA) Has proven to be one of the most popular and effective styles of self defence on the PLANET! MMA is a combination of ground based martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and fusing it together with  some of the most efficient striking techniques from several striking systems primarily boxing and muay thai which employs the use of punching, kicking, elbows and knees. To truly make CFS (MMA) classes truly efficient you will also be taught how to blend in street survival techniques to this truly amazing art.

Combative fitness is based on functional training purely for combat arts such as boxing, kickboxing MMA and grappling.

An example of this is performing movements in a way so as to greatly improve ones lifestyle, e.g (performing every day tasks more competently), it may also comprise of performing specific movements to greatly enhance sporting performance.
